RICE is a prioritization framework used by product teams at companies like Intercom. It helps you evaluate features objectively based on four factors:
Reach
How many users will this feature affect in a given period?
Impact
How much will it impact each user? (0.5 = minimal, 3 = massive)
Confidence
How confident are you in your estimates? (0–100%)
Effort
How many person-weeks will this take to build?
RICE Score = (Reach × Impact × Confidence%) / Effort
